The work in the New Sand Trap of the Cashaucro Hydro Power Station was finished successfully

(February 11th, 2008)

On February 11th of the present year we culminate to satisfaction of our client the mining company Raura the work that was entrusted to us. It consisted of:

- Provision, Transport of the Equipment and Materials, Execution and Construction of the work New Sand Trap of the Cashaucro Hydro Power Station.

The Sand Trap has dimensions of 37 m of length, 5 m of width, 4,6 m of height and a water flow of 4 m3/s. The corresponding tests were done and everything finish as it was planned. The work developed by the equipment of Consorcio Proyec that was in charge of the work was at any moment fast and efficient. This work will serve so that the hydroelectric power station receives a water of greater quality and purity, which will avoid lost in the process and an unnecessary wearing down of the equipment of the hydroelectric power station.
