Energy and Mines Ministry grant the Contract for the execution of the C.H of San Cayetano and the Electrical System

(29 January, 2008) On 17th January 2008 were granted the contract for the execution of “Improvement and extension of the Mini Hydro Power Station San Cayetano and energy interconnection of 14 annexes Pisuquia districts - Luya - Amazonas”.

The work is located in the province of Luya, department of Amazonas, few km of the work “Construction of the Sediment Trap of HPS Caclic”. The access to the work represents one of the most challenges. It does not exist road where vehicles can accede therefore the transportation is 6 hours by foot. This work has a term of 240 days.

The Hydroelectric Power station of San Cayetano includes all the civil works and the assembly of the hydroelectric group of Japanese origin. The electrical system includes 14 districts and is 22,9 kV primary Line and 13,2 kV primary networks.
